Curriculum Design

The new Programmes of Study and Secondary curriculum web-site produced by the QCA has introduced new flexibility into the delivery of the National Curriculum. The review of the primary curriculum is currently underway. Terry worked for QCA and has helped develop the new secondary curriculum web-site as well as the production of the new Secondary ICT Programmes of Study, he has also provided advice and training for schools on the development of a more flexible curriculum delivery.

In addition to the new curriculum web-site QCA has also produced the "Big Picture of the Curriculum" to stimulate debate about curriculum design. This can be accessed here. A video presentation of the Director of Curriculum - Mick Waters presenting the "Big Picture" can be accessed here
